Never lose a job to a missed call.
When you can't pick up, Ladderline texts the caller back within a minute, gets the address and the problem, and sends you the details. You see every job it brings in.

You keep your number. We handle the missed calls.
Your phone forwards only the calls you don't answer. That is the whole change on your side.
Forward missed calls
Dial one code so unanswered calls go to your Ladderline number. We send the exact code for your carrier, and the code that undoes it.
Approve what we say
Before anything goes live, you read the replies and test them. We change anything you don't like.
We reply in a minute
The caller gets a text, tells us the problem and address, and we mark urgent jobs. The text says it's a virtual assistant.
You get the job
Name, number, address and problem land on your phone. Leads that don't book get follow-ups so they don't go cold.

New customer
What are missed calls worth to your shop?
Move the sliders to match your business. It's an estimate you control, not a promise.
Estimate = missed calls × 4.3 weeks × new-customer share × booking rate × job value. Use a lower booking rate to be cautious. Real results depend on your shop and your follow-up.
Voicemail, an app, or Ladderline.
Answering apps can do part of this if you set them up yourself. We set it up for you and keep tuning it.

Apps and prices vary. This describes typical self-serve answering tools, not any one product.
A monthly report you can read in a minute.
Calls we picked up, real enquiries, jobs booked, and what they were worth. You confirm the booked jobs, so the dollar figure comes from you.
If the report doesn't show it paying for itself, you cancel.
Average first reply: 40 seconds. After-hours calls: 17 of 41. Emergencies passed to you: 3.

Questions owners ask
Will my customers mind a text from an assistant?
The reply is a text, which most people expect from a business. It says it's a virtual assistant and it never pretends to be you. Anything urgent is passed to you right away.
What if it says something wrong?
You review and test the wording before the pilot starts. It never quotes prices or promises a time unless you tell it to. Send a correction any day and we change it.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. Your number stays yours. You forward only the calls you miss, and one code turns forwarding off.
What does it cost after the pilot?
$149 a month, flat, no contract and no per-call charges. Pilot shops keep that price for the first 12 months. You will know the number before the two weeks end, and nothing is charged unless you say yes.
Is this legal? What about recording?
The texts reply to a call the customer made to you and contain no ads. The assistant says it's automated. Calls and texts may be recorded and we tell people so. Rules differ by state, and we set it up to fit yours.
What about emergencies?
Ladderline is not an emergency service. When a caller mentions flooding, gas, fire or no heat in cold weather, it flags the message urgent, tells them what to do first, and alerts you.
Why trust a new company?
You shouldn't have to. The first two weeks are free, you keep your number, and you can switch it off in seconds. If it doesn't catch you work, you've lost about ten minutes.
